Continue reading to learn how Infrared Sauna helps your body.
Infrared sauna therapy uses deep, penetrating infrared heat to warm the body from within, promoting detoxification through deep sweating while supporting circulation, muscle relaxation, and overall recovery. Unlike traditional saunas, infrared heat operates at a lower ambient temperature, making it more comfortable while still delivering therapeutic benefits at a cellular level. Regular sessions can help reduce muscle and joint pain, improve flexibility, and ease chronic tension.
Infrared sauna therapy also supports stress regulation and nervous system balance, encouraging relaxation, improved sleep, and mental clarity. Additional benefits may include enhanced immune support, respiratory relief, and improved skin health through increased circulation and toxin release—making infrared sauna a powerful tool for whole-body wellness and preventative care.
✓ North American basswood for the cabin enclosure. This wood is chosen specifically because it has a dense cellular structure that makes it strong, stable, and sweat-resistant, and it is hypoallergenic with very little odor, making it suitable for people with multiple chemical sensitivities and comfortable for therapeutic use.
✓ Extremely low EMF levels: When tested directly at the heater, EMF levels are mostly below 1 milligauss (mG). Where you sit inside the sauna, EMF is reported to be virtually 0 mG, meaning negligible electromagnetic field exposure for users.
✓ Extremely low frequency (ELF) readings are 3–5 times below the threshold of concern (industry safety reference level), which is significantly lower than many competing infrared sauna models.
✓ Near- Mid, Far- Infrared wave lengths -
- Near‑Infrared (NIR, 0.7–1.5 µm)
Shallow penetration: absorbed by the skin and superficial tissues: Supports cellular repair, collagen production, wound healing
- Mid‑Infrared (MIR, 1.5–5.6 µm)
Moderate penetration: reaches muscle and joint tissues: Helps with pain relief, circulation, and tissue repair
- Far‑Infrared (FIR, 5.6–1000 µm)
Deepest penetration: absorbed by muscles, joints, and internal organs: Promotes detoxification through sweating, deep relaxation, improved circulation, and metabolic support
✓ Supports detoxification through deep sweating
✓ Improves circulation and oxygen delivery to tissues
✓ Relieves muscle tension and joint pain

✓ Promotes stress reduction and nervous system regulation
✓ Supports cardiovascular health through gentle heat exposure
✓ Boosts immune system support
✓ Improves skin health by cleansing pores and increasing blood flow
✓ Encourages overall wellness and preventative care
Most people think of a steam sauna as a traditional sauna. A steam sauna heats the air around you using hot water to produce steam, creating a hot, humid environment that can reach 150–190°F. This warms the body indirectly, promoting sweating, relaxation, improved circulation, and temporary detoxification. In contrast, an infrared sauna uses infrared light to penetrate the body directly, warming tissues without significantly heating the surrounding air. Operating at lower temperatures (typically 110–140°F), infrared saunas provide a gentler experience while offering deeper benefits, including pain relief, enhanced circulation, stress reduction, and detoxification, all with less strain on the cardiovascular system.
Halotherapy Solutions uses saunas manufatured from Clearlight. Clearlight infrared saunas are designed with low EMF and low ELF technology, ensuring electromagnetic exposure is negligible during use. Infrared heaters warm the body at lower temperatures than traditional saunas, reducing strain while still delivering deep, therapeutic heat. Built with non-toxic, eco-certified materials and meeting recognized safety standards, Clearlight saunas provide a comfortable, safe, and effective wellness experience when used as directed.
Clients with medical conditions should consult their healthcare provider before using infrared sauna therapy. Sessions should always be adjusted for comfort, hydration, and individual tolerance.
- Pregnancy (unless cleared by a healthcare provider)
- Cardiovascular conditions, including uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart disease
- Use of pacemakers or implanted electronic medical devices
- Severe heat sensitivity or inability to sweat properly
- Acute infections, fever, or illness
- Open wounds, recent surgery, or active inflammation in the treatment area
- Certain medications that impair heat tolerance or hydration (e.g., diuretics, beta blockers)
- Recent alcohol or substance use
- Advanced kidney disease or conditions affecting fluid balance
- Children under 16 years of age, as their thermoregulation systems are not fully developed, making it harder for them to safely regulate body temperature and increasing the risk of overheating or dehydration
We provide all products necessary to make your session a success.
Wearing 100% cotton in the sauna allows the skin to breathe and sweat naturally, supporting effective detoxification and temperature regulation. Cotton is non-synthetic, so it won’t trap heat, release chemicals, or interfere with infrared energy, making it safer and more comfortable during sauna sessions. It is your private room and you are welcome to go nude, although we respectfully ask that underwear be kept on.
Lotions, makeup, and other body products are advised to not be applied the day of because they can block pores, limiting the body’s ability to sweat and release toxins. When heated, some products may also break down or release chemicals that can be absorbed by the skin, reducing the effectiveness of the sauna session and potentially irritating the skin.
There is a Bluetooth speaker inside the cabin, and you are welcome to connect to it. We kindly ask that volume be kept low and relaxing, as other sessions are taking place nearby. Because halotherapy is included, we recommend not bringing personal electronic devices into the cabin, as salt particles can settle into small openings and may cause corrosion.
